Chris Marshall
With over 15 years of executive experience in the HVAC&R sector, Chris has directed and guided the Hunt Heating residential and commercial divisions since arriving from Europe 10 years ago. With a keen eye for detail and innovation, Chris manages his forward-thinking team to work closely with clients and project influencers to deliver sustainable and modern buildings.
For commercial projects across Australia, Chris and the team have guided the successful integration of HVAC&R products sourced from some of the world’s most technologically advanced manufacturers.
David Richardson
David leads the day to day sales and operations of the division and enjoys working in cohesion with developers, consulting engineers and mechanical contractors. With 17 years of practical engineering and technical experience in both the HVAC&R and Aerospace industries, David provides unparalleled service and expertise to his clients.
David leads from the front and by example, with his team offering complete energy-efficient solutions from project inception through to design, delivery, and commissioning. David prides himself and the division on being Australia’s leader in commercial hydronic plant room design, and delivery for both on and off grid.
Nigel Hunt
With over 30 years’ experience, the last 15 of which have been here in Australia, Nigel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Hunt Heating.
A natural relationship builder and people person, Nigel enjoys being client facing and developing relationships with top tier consulting engineers, architects, and property developers as well as other key decision makers in the specification process. Nigel works closely with our internal technical sales and management teams to close specifications and assist with the production of drawings and the submittal of technical data.
Callan Pels
Since joining Hunt Heating in 2011, Callan has overseen a huge increase in high quality, energy-efficient products sourced and subsequently launched into the Australian HVAC&R market. Callan continuously liaises with governing bodies as well as manufacturers from a host of Western European countries.
His hard work and dedication ensure Hunt Heating Commercial has the best performing products in the industry. These products adhere to the highest quality standards and processes from raw material sourcing through to manufacturing and final certification and commissioning.
Matt Slee
Matt has worked in the HVAC&R sector in Australia for over 13 years with specialist knowledge of renewable technologies and high-level automation systems.
Matt is an avid promoter of products and solutions in the sustainable buildings sector. He enjoys delivering on the challenge he sets himself, and through the results, he achieves in creating significant cost and energy savings for his clients.
David Toms
Based in Sydney, David has been a licensed heating engineer for more than 18 years with a wealth of hands-on commercial plant experience to call upon. He assists his clients wherever possible, and still takes a hands-on approach by going out into the field when required.
David displays an approachable “can do” attitude for every project while conducting regular site surveys and plant commissioning services. He enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively with consulting engineers and mechanical contractors to provide first-class service to the company’s projects in NSW and ACT.
Amanda Tyson
A creative-minded and multi-talented IT specialist, Amanda ensures all technical marketing and design materials and tools are first-rate and streamlined. Her fantastic work has simplified knowledge gathering for all our clients and enquiries.
Amanda ensures the company’s strong values and message are seen and heard in the industry, whether that be through digital or print media or at industry-specific events, exhibitions, and seminars.
Liam Malarkey
Liam is an experienced and qualified heating engineer by trade. He heads up Hunt Heating Commercial’s on-site service, repair and commissioning department and technical helpline. Liam is always happy to assist with a detailed problem-solving task and understands the practical challenges mechanical contractors face on a day to day basis.
Liam assists with proactive installation planning through to training inside our state-of-the-art training centre. He’s always happy to provide reactive assistance to questions posed by our clients on site. Liam also co-ordinates our in-house commissioning services for both Type A & B gas appliances as well as the refrigeration side of our Heat Pumps and Chillers systems.
