HydroHeat are fully certified and accredited, with all boilers sold carrying AGA Aust Standards certification. We value and support industry initiative in the hydronic heating sector to both promote energy efficiency to the public and ensure consumer confidence in the products they purchase are fully tested and approved for use in the Australian market.

HydroHeat are committed to consumer safety and well being in providing the best possible heating products and systems. We encourage any installer to check and ensure the products they purchase or install are covered by local regulatory requirements and mandatory certifications.

AGA

The Australian Gas Association (AGA) is the core Australian certification body governing all Australian gas appliances. All BAXI boilers sold by HydroHeat carry current AGA certification marks including the new AGA Gas Safety certification (GCM) mark and are tested and assessed to assure compliance with Australian standards.

The AGA Certification Scheme (for gas equipment) is recognised nationally, simultaneously playing a key role in assisting the gas industry develop highly regarded safety standards for testing and certifying domestic, commercial and industrial appliances, components and other ancillary equipment. AGA headquarters are in Melbourne, Victoria and the organisation is a not-for-profit industry association and operates for the benefit of all stakeholders, including representatives from non-gas sectors since the expansion of its certification services to cover items such as electrical and plumbing products.

WaterMark

The WaterMark Certification Scheme (WaterMark) is a mandatory certification scheme for plumbing and drainage materials and products to ensure they are fit for purpose and appropriately authorised for use in plumbing and drainage installations. All applicable H/Heat products relevant to Watermark certification carry the symbol.

The ABCB manages and administers WaterMark as a national scheme. The NCC, Volume Three requires certain plumbing and drainage materials and products to be certified (listed on the Product Database) and authorised for use in a plumbing or drainage installation. These materials and products are certified and authorised for use through WaterMark.

PICAC

HydroHeat are proud supporters of PICAC (Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre). PICAC is a unique industry led training facility in Brunswick, Melbourne. The centre is a 5-Star Green Star rated building and is a working example of innovative design and sustainable plumbing. By providing access to a training resource without peer, PICAC encourages the plumbing industry to take up the challenges of new technology and new approaches. PICAC’s facilities are pre-eminent amongst training providers and include a demonstration ‘Green Plumbing House’, world class reticulated water systems, and the newest technology in water and heating efficiency.

By showcasing the world’s very best technology PICAC helps to train the plumbers of tomorrow. PICAC is an industry partnership supported by the Plumbing industry Unions and associations.HydroHeat has supplied a fully operational hydronic heating system complete with Boiler, piping, valves, radiator panels and towel warners. This enables trainees to dismantle and reassemble a fully working installation to provide practical training.

Sustainability Victoria

HydroHeat support and endorse the initiative of Sustainability Victoria. Sustainability Victoria’s statutory objective is to facilitate and promote environmental sustainability in the use of resources. Established under the Sustainability Victoria Act 2005, SV is a statutory authority with a board appointed by the Minister for Environment and Climate Change.

SV has obligations under the Environment Protection Act 1970 for statewide waste management strategy and planning. SV has an extensive online information Portal which informs and advises consumers of Energy Smart choices, providing factual and impartial advice, and reports and information comparing different home heating systems and the comparative costs of each.
